Two years ago I read some distressing statistics about the average American's reading habits (most of us read fewer then 10 books a year). This horrified me, and then made me wonder how many books I would read with a time limit. I started keeping a record of what I read, when, and what I thought about it.
What follows are extremely personal book reviews. I'm not trying to tell anyone what they should read, and I'm not always on the cutting edge of what's being published. Its a strange assortment that will be filled with opinions and spoilers, but as I start the third year of my experiment, I still think its interesting, and I'm pleased to say that I'm well above average, at least as far as volume of books read...
